The Task: Birmingham's Ikon gallery is internationally respected for its innovation and excellence in the field of contemporary art.
I provide in-house PR support for Ikon, managing the organisation's press profile for its programme of exhibitions, offsite projects, commercial enterprises and Café Ikon, the renowned tapas bar.
In particular, I have paid special attention to communications to different audiences, honing the copy-writing technique according to whether we are talking to a serious academic art journal, a lifestyle glossy or regional what's on magazine.
